Auntidote is the parent brand, powered by (3) friends who happen to all be Aunts. During one visit in the summer of 2023 we found ourselves sipping margaritas and talking about the struggles we saw in our own nieces and nephews. The more we talked about our own lives, we soon realized 14-25 year olds weren’t the only ones who need support!
By the Spring of 2024 we completed building a platform for our cornerstone project, the Auntidote Support Community (ASC). Membership in the ASC is free and anonymous. Members have access to “The Note” (Social Media Channel) and auntieDirect (Advice Column & Life Lessons Bulletin Board.)
The ASC crowd sources life lessons, courage, inspiration and motivation for anyone 14 and over. When your worst day happens, you’ll know you can safely & anonymously hop on the ASC, explain the challenge and wait to find out how someone else got through it!
We are not perfect human beings by any stretch of the imagination. We mess up a lot. We don’t promise to have all the answers, not by a long shot. But regardless of if you’re a prom queen, star athlete, actor, musician, business leader, veteran, everyday Joe, wallflower or perhaps just deeply misunderstood – the ASC is a safe place to express yourself and never be alone in your search for support and comradery.
We’ll never ask for your name to be a member of the ASC. As far as we’re concerned your name is Human Being. All ASC members are known only by their fun and creative, anonymous username.
And while life is not simple, we think that a few “simple” things can be helpful in navigating it.
We believe this so much one of our Auntidote logos, our “… with love” logo, is simply a hand sketched world that showcases these three values. It is part and parcel to who we are and a mantra that we hope lands far and wide.
We are a group of flawed human beings, more specifically Aunts, that are doing our best to use our power for good. We hope you’ll join the ASC and do the same.
